Logging a constant dip in corona cases, the Indian states and union territories in the last 24 hours registered 74,442 new COVID cases. According to the latest reports from the union health ministry, the total caseload of the country by Monday touched 66,23,816.
The total cases include 9,34,427 active cases, 55,86,704 cured/discharged/migrated & 99,773 deaths, confirmed Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. While the country touched the grim milestone of one lakh deaths on Saturday, India reported 903 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total toll to 1,02,685 in the world’s second-worst affected nation.

Meanwhile, Telangana logged 1,335 new cases on Monday while the total caseload crossed 2.6 lakh-mark. 8 patients succumbed to the deadly viral infection from Thursday morning taking the total toll to 1,171.
Andhra Pradesh, the other hand, continued to stay in the top three worst-hit states in the country. The Covid-19 tally increased to 7.19 lakh with 6,242 new COVID cases by Sunday evening.
