While the World Health Organisation(WHO) and the nations are promoting vaccines as the ultimate solution for the pandemic, a country shocked the world by banning the vaccine. The Taliban on Thursday have banned the COVID vaccine in east Afghanistan’s Paktia.
The development has come as a shock as the government has put up a notice in this regard at Paktia Regional Hospital, Afghanistan-based radio and television platform Shamshad News. While the notice was put outside the hospitals, the decision has been drawing flak from international health experts.
In a viral video that is going viral on social media, a video emerged on social media where the Taliban insurgents were seen partying at the residence of Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum. It can be noted that nearly 65% of Afghan territory has fallen to the Taliban.
