Cyberabad CP Stephen Ravindra said that there was a plan to assassinate Minister Srinivas Goud. He disclosed the details to the media as follows- on the 23rd of last month, Farooq and Hyder Ali went to stay at a lodge near Suchitra and on the 25th, when they went outside to have tea, Nagaraju of Mahabubnagar attempted to attack them along with some people. Farooq and Haider Ali escaped and lodged a complaint with the police. The case was registered and an inquiry was held. He said some things came out on this occasion.
CP said that Nagaraju, Vishwanath, and Yadayya tried to attack Farooq and Haider Ali. They were arrested on the 26th and produced in court on the 27th. CP stated that Nagaraju revealed some shocking things in the interrogation, adding that he along with his brother Raghavendra Raju, and others had planned the murder. With this, the investigation was started where the police started tracking Raghavendra Raju’s location. Later, in Delhi, Raju accompanied by Munnur Ravi, Madhusudan Raju, and Amarender Raju were taken into custody.
“Raghavendra Raju, Munnur Ravi, Madhusudan Raju and Amarender Raju went to Vizag from Mahabubnagar and from there to Delhi,” said Stephen Ravindra. He said that Jitender Reddy had given them a driver and a PA shelter, from where they were brought to Hyderabad after giving notices and getting arrested. He said that two guns were seized- one was Raghavendra Rajudi and the other was from Munnuru Ravi.

CP said that while interrogating Raghavendra Raju, it was known that all of them had conspired to assassinate Minister Srinivas Goud. He explained that he had met Farooq first and planned to kill the minister. Rs 15 crore has been offered for this. Stephen Ravindra, who arrested a total of 8 people, said that Madhusudan Raju and Amarender Raju had done the finance. CP said police should take him into custody and get more details.
