Telangana state Governor Tamilisai is conducting a Mahila Durbar to find out the problems of women in the state. However, there are different arguments on this. Some say the governor is doing something wrong while others support it. Recently, CPI leader Narayana responded that the governor’s decision was wrong.
Narayana questioned what the Tamilisai Mahila Durbar was focusing on. He said that a governor can receive a petition if someone ever comes forward and registers a complaint taking it to the higher authorities. He alleged that holding such a women’s durbar was an abuse of the Raj Bhavan’s rules.
Narayana mentioned that Tamilsai has a political background. However, he said it was not right to be in a position of honor now and behave like this. He said the BJP had stepped up its political offensive and on the other hand the role of the governor seemed to be fueling the fire.
He said that the governor’s actions appear to be political, which are contrary to the spirit of the federal constitution. He urged her to cancel the durbar she was headed. Narayana said the CPI would fight the TRS government policy-wise. In response to the Amnesia Pub case, he said it was illegal and a serious offense to allow minors into a pub. They demanded the immediate seizure of the pub and the arrest of the owner.
