Hyderabad: Communist Party of India(CPI) extending its support to ruling TRS party, stood as the crucial twist in the Huzurnagar by-polls saga. Snubbing aside the internal flare that arose between the party cadre and high command, CPI leader Chada Venkata Reddy took the decision to support TRS which once humiliated the party. CPI supported the move showing the changed political circumstances in the state.
However, the TSRTC employee strike has not only set ripples in state unions but has also changed the political equations. Amidst the raging protests and series of suicides, CPI party has withdrawn its support to TRS in the upcoming Huzurnagar by-polls. This has come as a major set back to the ruling party as each and every vote bank counts. CPI released an official press note corroborating the big news on Monday. The CPI stated that TRS refused to mend their ways even after the repeated pleas from them regarding TSRTC employees.
