While the country is now under the scary shadow of the second wave, theist of celebrities who have been testing positive for the coronavirus is increasing with each passing day. Recently, Cricket great Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday revealed that he had tested positive for coronavirus.
Taking to his official Twitter account which celebrated 35 million followers, the 47-year-old cricketer stated that he has quarantined himself at home and I am following all the necessary protocols as advised by his medical team.
“I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country. Take care of all of you,” he further wrote in his official statement.

It can be noted that Tendulkar was recently seen in action during the Road Safety World Series where he led the India Legends to the title, beating Sri Lanka Legends in the summit clash. The news came close on the heels of Mumbai registered a surge with over 36,000 positive cases on Friday.
