A criminal case has been registered against the TRS candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar along with Chief Minister KCR. A lawyer alleged that CM KCR spoke to influence the voters in an open meeting during the Munugodu by-elections.
To this extent, the lawyer of Nalgonda approached the court to take action against them. He objected to the comments made by CM KCR in the public meeting held at Bangaru Gadda on the 30th of last month. He said that if the TRS candidate wins, Chandur will be made a revenue division and the hospital and roads will be made shiny in 15 days.
He claimed that the CM had lured the voters with his comments. Telangana Electrical Employees Union Association Vice President Enugu Satthi Reddy is the complainant in this case. To this extent, advocate Purushottam Reddy filed a criminal complaint before the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate Judge.
The case was adjourned to Monday to examine the details. The lawyer said that CM KCR did not care about the villages of the Munugodu constituency before the by-election. He told the court that when the election comes, people will vote no matter what they say and they have tried to deceive people with false promises.
