BJP MLA Etala Rajender alleged that the KCR regime was leaving the farmers in the air and sitting in the farmhouse. On Friday, he toured the Mahabubabad district. He spoke to farmers in tribal herds along with several villages in the district, asked and learned about their hardships.
He later spoke to reporters at the Torroor Mandal Center. He said all the tribesmen in the herds in Manukota district had hoped that Telangana state would improve if they came, but the survivors complained that they did not think it would stop like this. They were in tears when they started talking about the crop conditions.
They all worry that the minimum price must be set, or that suicide is the only direction for them. If they think that the profits will come from planting chilies, they will suffer from diseases and not even ten percent of the investment is generally recovered. He said that even if they try to plant vegetables, there is always an imminent threat from the monkeys.
Eetala said the tragic weather was prevailing in rural areas. Sitting comfortably in Pragatibhavan, the CM is making the farmers’ lives difficult. Farmers’ lives are thought to be three flowers like six fruits. But farmers commented that it’s nowhere close to what is perceived outside. Eetala demanded to know the facts and know the conditions of the farmers.
