After setting ripples in the state political fraternity hinting over her political entry with a new party in Telangana, Y.S.Sharmila who recently held the second round of talks with the confidants of YS Rajasekhar Reddy is learnt to fasten up the groundworks for the party launch.
The daughter of former CM Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy and sister of AP CM Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy has reportedly finalised the dates for her political debut after numerous rounds of talks with a select group of leaders and intellectuals in Hyderabad.
According to the leaders who interacted with Sharmila, she intends to complete all the consultations before April 15 and 45 days from which she is planning to formally launch the party with fanfare at a public meeting. Sources revealed that Sharmila is likely to announce the launch of her political outfit on May 14-the day YSR assumed CM’s office in 2004.
July 8, her father YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s birthday is also under consideration where major decisions are learnt to be taken. A section of Sharmila supporters confronted that the leader is waiting for the completion of Nagarjunasagar by-poll, two graduate constituencies and seven municipalities elections.
On the other hand, the party leaders said that the team is on the hunt for the land to set up a party office. Reports have it that the party heads are looking to set up the party office in 2-acre land either in Gachibowli or Madhapur while the to-be supremo is continued to hold meetings in Lotus Pond residence for now.
