Former Anantapur MP and TDP senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy’s meeting with the Union Home Minister Kishan Reddy turned interesting with the former’s comments in the press meeting followed by. Stating that he would stick to the TDP party, the senior leader has given an open offer to BJP. Diwaker who has been making comments in favour of BJP of late has stated that he will, however, think of jumping into BJP, if the centre acquires Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
Answering to one of the journalists over the capital issue, JC condemned the state government’s move which would directly hit five crore people. He then opined that he would stand with the capital shifting proposal if and only if Rayalaseema would be changed to Greater Rayalaseema and be declared as Union Territory. This out of the box demand from the senior leader has triggered debates in the political fraternity. Further talking about the capital issue, he stated that he has plans to tour the region, meet farmers & party leaders and come up with an optimum solution.
