Why did KCR seek the help CPI, the party once he ridiculed? Did the intelligence reports reveal the defeat of TRS? Will CPI come to the rescue?
With Huzurnagar by-polls fast approaching, every possibility turns out to be crucial for the parties in the league. When it is considered to be as prestigious as the general elections, parties that once lashed out at each other may stand hand in hand and parties that are 200 per cent sure of their victory might seek the help of the most unexpected one. Political analysts say that the ruling TRS and CPI are on the same note now! Amidst the by-polls heat, KCR has reportedly sent a delegation of senior TRS leaders led by Dr K Keshava Rao, secretary-general and Rajya Sabha member to hold negotiations with CPI leaders at Makhdoom Bhavan in Himayathnagar. After which the leader stated that they have come to sought CPI support which is not contesting the elections. This revelation has come as a shock as this would be the last possible thing TRS would do. Why did the TRS supremo do this? Did the intelligence reports reveal the defeat of TRS?
It is an agreed-upon fact that whoever wins, that would be with a small majority. Seems like KCR is well aware of this fact and wants to make sure that he banks the minimal chance also. This might be the main reason behind him seeking CPI’s support, the party that he once ridiculed. However, this has triggered agitations in the CPI party cadre who once held protests questioning TRS’ atrocities. Amidst this, in an exclusive interview with ToliVelugu, Chada Venkat Reddy, CPI Telangana leader has affirmed that the alliance talks are on the final stage. He said the party high command’s decision would be final despite the friction party cadre.
