The Delhi Liquor Scam has taken another turning point. The Rouse Avenue court announced that it is considering the supplementary charge sheet filed by the ED. ED mentioned 17 names including Delhi CM Kejriwal, MLC Kavitha, and YCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy. But when the name of the Chief Minister of the state was mentioned in the charge sheet, the heat in this case suddenly increased.
ED has explained the key points in this 428-page charge sheet. It is said that he spoke to Arvind Kejriwal’s closest confidant Vijay Nair while formulating the excise policy. She said that Vijay Nair was the one who led the entire Delhi liquor scam and that he did everything related to this scam in Kejriwal’s camp office. Kejriwal’s name was revealed based on Sameer Mahendru’s statement.
ED also mentioned the name of BRS MLC Kavitha. She has been named among those who have already been interrogated. Also, Kavitha mentioned the name of those who destroyed the evidence. Officials said in the charge sheet that she participated in the meetings held at Delhi’s Oberoi Hotel. ED has charged all 17 accused.
The Rouse Avenue court has issued notices to the accused named in the charge sheet in the liquor case. The court heard the case on Thursday. The ED issued notices to the accused, saying that it was considering the supplementary chargesheet. The case was adjourned to the 23rd of this month. On January 6, ED filed a supplementary charge sheet with 13,657 pages. It includes seven companies, to name a few. Vijay Nair and Abhishek Boinapalli have been named as accused. Along with them Sarath Chandra Reddy, Binoy, and Amit Arora have also been included as accused. The ED submitted the complaint report to the court with 428 pages on the entire charge sheet.
