It can be said that now we are in a situation of not knowing what exactly is happening in the Delhi liquor scam. ED on one side and CBI on the other side are continuing the investigation. ED is trying to file a second charge sheet. Granting bail to the accused at such a time has become a topic of discussion. CBI special court granted bail to accused in Delhi liquor scam case. The investigation was conducted in the Rouse Avenue court on the CBI charge sheet.
Kuldeep Singh, Narender Singh, Mutta Gautam, Arun Pillai, and Sameer Mahendra have been granted bail. The CBI has filed a chargesheet against all seven accused and the court has granted interim bail to five of them. The court granted bail on a personal surety of Rs 50,000 each and issued a notice to the CBI on the regular bail petition of the accused.
The Delhi Liquor Scam has sparked outrage across the country. There are charges against Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Also, the names of Telangana CM KCR’s daughter, MLC Kavitha, and YCP MP Magunta Srinivasulureddy have been included in the charge sheet by the ED. CBI and ED have arrested many people who have links with leaders of ruling parties. CBI has already questioned Kavitha.
Several liquor producers from the southern region have drawn a sketch to take the Delhi Liquor Danda into their fold. In Amit Arora’s remand report, the ED stated that Sarath Chandra Reddy and Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy controlled the South Group formed by all of them. It has been said that Rs.4,756 crores were received from Ramchandra Pillai through bank accounts to Mutta Gautham in the profits of the wholesale business and Rs.3.85 crores were transferred from his account to Abhishek Boinpally. Moreover, it has been clarified that some money has been transferred to Gautham’s media companies.
The CBI charge sheet has stated that all seven accused are involved in the criminal conspiracy. In this order, the Rouse Avenue court, which heard the bail petition on Tuesday, granted interim bail to five people. CBI has already granted bail to Abhishek and Vijay Nair in this case. After granting bail to the five accused, the court adjourned the next hearing to the 24th of this month.
