In the recent riots that lit the Northeast Delhi into the blaze, the videos of the gun-wielding man confronting the unarmed policeman went viral while the social media went rife with condemning messages. In a recent revelation, Delhi police on Tuesday state that the man was arrested and was booked under charges for attempt to murder.
The man who was later identified as Shahrukh was arrested from a bus stop in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli on Tuesday morning. Conforming the same, Additional CP Ajit Kumar Singhal addressed the media stating that has been charged under Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 186, 353 of IPC and Arms Act. Meanwhile, the police interrogation was said to reveal the reason behind Shahrukh opening fire.
Shahrukh was learnt to open fire in a fit of rage after he saw stone pelting happening in the Jaffrabad-Maujpur area. On the hand, Shahrukh’s father has a case of narcotics and fake currency against him. However, neither Shahrukh or his father doesn’t have a criminal record.
