Adding to the list of shocks to the Telangana Chief Minister after the Dubbaka by-polls and Greater polls, ‘Desh Ka Mood’ survey conducted by famous news channel ‘ABP News’ left a bitter taste for the TRS supremo.
Based on the criteria like how the state governments handled the corona crisis and the performance of the Modi-led government so far, over 30,000 respondents across the country voted their views. While Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy took the top third spot giving a tough fight to Odisha CM Navin Patnaik(first place) and Aravind Kejriwal(second place), Telangana CM KCR figured in the fourth position from bottom.
It can be noted that YS Jagan received an approval rating of 66.83 per cent while only 16 per cent of those surveyed in the state said that they are not satisfied with him. Surprisingly all the top three Chief Ministers are from non-BJP/non-Congress ruled states.
The Chief Ministers of Kerala, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh have been ranked 4th, 5th and 6th in the survey, respectively. BJP-ruled Uttarakhand’s Trivendra Singh Rawat is the least performing Chief Minister in the country with only 0.41 per cent of the people in the state approving him. Haryana, ranked second last, followed by Punjab.
