Who said thieves don’t have feelings? They do have and regret would be the right feeling they hit the most. But seems like the thief we are going to discuss now, swapped the process and regretted well before he faced the consequences. The feeling probably amplified as it had a devotional touch!
Into the story, a CCTV footage of theft at Durga Bhavani Mandir in Gunfoundry, Secunderabad is going viral on social media. Yes, the theft videos are quite interesting to watch but here lies a bone of contention! The ‘devotional’ thief was caught on camera offering prayers to a deity for minutes together. Going by the video, the thief who was probably in his late 30s entered the sanctum of Durga temple at around 6.20 PM. After long prayer and various gestures of asking the deity for sorry, he pulls the crown off the idol. However, the thief had a tough time taking off the crown as it was tied to the idol with a thick thread. After struggling for a while, he finally took off the crown hid it under his shirt. A case has been registered under Section 380 of the IPC.
A CCTV footage of a theft at Durga Bhavani Mandir in Gunfoundry, Secunderabad. A crown of Durga mata was stolen from the temple. Interesting to see how the thief apologizes first to the mata, prays and then steals the crown. Case registered, investigation underway. #Hyderabad pic.twitter.com/kZ06DZpI4W
