The wait continues for the registration of agricultural and non-agricultural lands in Telangana with the government postponing the launch of Dharani, the trendsetter property registration web portal.
While Chief Minister KCR on October 29th launched the ambitious project surpassing all the initial hurdles, incessant rains came as a major jolt to team Dharani.
However, there has been a lot of speculations over the launch while CM himself plunged into action clarifying that the launch will be scheduled on November 29th at 12.30 PM. Followed by which the CMO stated the flood condition as the main hurdle behind the unexpected delay.
The portal claims to simplify the registration, succession and even partition of agriculture lands, to ensure that the entire process is completed within 10 minutes and the e-pattadar passbook is provided to the landowners immediately. The documents pertaining to registration, mutation, succession and partition too would be provided on the spot.
The portal which was scheduled to be launched on October 25 on the auspicious occasion of Dasara was postponed due to delay in setting up the online network across 570 mandal revenue offices and also 142 sub-registrar offices across the State.
