Didn’t succeed…!?…don’t panic…You can still WIN…!
Telangana’s Nukala Umaharathi, 3rd Ranker in the recent Civils Examinations has shared an important message for those candidates who are preparing for the competitive examinations. She said that it’s nothing wrong with failing in an examination…and shared that she has also tasted failures a good number of times in her career. She said that one individual’s focus and attention to the subject along with concentration takes that individual to big wins in a career. She has graduated from IIT, Hyderabad, and is one of the top four rankers in the country. Isitha Kishore, Garima Lohia, and Smriti Mishra of Delhi have shown their prowess in the UPSC examinations.

Speaking with the media persons, Nukala Umaharathi said that she has tried for the fifth time and now her effort is indeed a very big attempt for her. She also said that this time she was able to rectify a lot of her earlier mistakes…while preparing for the Civils…and shared that her father has given her the required self-confidence and supported her by motivating her in this journey. She was also thankful to her family for their wholehearted support. She said that her father told her that ’in order grow in your career …you need to put lots of efforts…and should aim for your target in a focused way…’
For young applicants, Umaharathi also shared that there is no single success formula for winning…except to focus on the examination with total concentration…and also sharpen your strategies from time to time. She opined that even if you are unable to pass the examination…you should be ready to face the whole world…and for that, you must have lots of strength and determination. She also said that do not study too much…and study up to the point of what is needed only…as it is a competitive examination…practice is most important…so please concentrate on that…is the other advice from her.

She has also shared her personal information as well…She told that her father Venkateswarlu works as Narayanpet SP…and her mother Sridevi is a Homemaker…younger brother Saivikas got selected to the Indian Engineering Services and was offered a job in Mumbai and working there. Umaharathi also disclosed that she passed B. Tech (Civil Engineering) in 2017 and concentrated on Civils. She went on to Delhi for coaching, and as she is not thoroughly satisfied with their coaching methodology, she returned home and prepared for the Civils on her own…
