With the piling outrage from the public, various women and student associations over the brutal rape and murder of Disha to set up a fast-track, the KCR-led government has finally sent a plea to the High Court three days ago. Telangana High Court on Wednesday gave its approval to the proposal sent by Law Secretary Santosh to set up a fast-track court to serve justice to the victim and their family as soon as possible. High Court issued orders to the government sanctioning the fast-track court status to the first Additional District of Mahabubnagar’s session judge. Various women welfare activists and student leader welcomed HC approving the fast-track court. On the other hand, politicians and celebrities queued up at the Disha’s residence to pay a visit to the bereaved family. However, the state Chief Minister who seems to be busy attending marriages refused to react on why didn’t visit their parents so far.
