While a three-membered team comprising of the senior forensic experts from Delhi All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) on Monday conducted the re-postmortem on the bodies of the four accused in the sensational Disha case, the High Court received the respective reports today. Sources revealed that the reports submitted included a CD which has the entire postmortem recorded. However, it was said that the special team has handed over only an interim report while the comprehensive one was asked to be submitted in a couple of days. The team led by Dr Sudhir Gupta has reportedly submitted the report to the High Court today.
As per the authorities of the Gandhi Hospitals, the special from Delhi rejected any sorts of assistance from the hospital team to maintain the confidentiality as per the High Court orders. On the other hand, it was stated that the three-membered commission constituted by the Supreme Court would reach to Hyderabad by mid-January to probe into the alleged encounter. Sources have it that the Commission members have already written to Telangana CS SK Joshi regarding the equipment and facilities they need for the investigation. As a part of the investigation, the commission is likely to meet the department officials, family members of the accused and the doctors who conducted the first post-mortem. While the reports turned crucial for the investigation, all eyes are on the comprehensive report to be submitted by the forensic team from Delhi.
