Mistakes generally happen when a group of four sits and talks. In that case, while the speaker and the listener may appear to be serious, sadly, no one focuses on the reality of what they are saying. Will anyone of stature such as the Chief Minister of the state risk saying such words? Even if he does, won’t he realize his mistake? or at least think twice after saying so? such questions are arising in everybody’s minds due to the ongoing discussion on cloud burst.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR has made sensational comments that there is a foreign conspiracy behind the recent floods. It is a leap for the Chief Minister of a state, including a genius like KCR, to come and say that a cloud burst does not happen normally and that there is a foreign conspiracy behind it, but it is not an easy matter for KCR to believe it. The flood in the Godavari did not cross 26 lakh cusecs, which was more than this in the past. The highest flood on the Godavari occurred in 1986. The flood in 1986 was 36 lakh cusecs. But to cover up their failures, the politicians are trying to paint the current flood as unprecedented in the hundred-year history of the Godavari and even further as a “foreign conspiracy”. And if there is a flood of 50 cusecs beyond the current flood, will it be the work of aliens?
In fact, after the 1986 flood, the Central Water Commission had predicted that the Godavari would receive a flood of 50 lakh cusecs in the future. If only 26 lakh cusecs are damaged, what will happen if there is a flood of 50 lakh cusecs? If we look at what is still different from the past that the damages of this flood are at this level, it is clear that it is due to human error. But it is ridiculous for the CM to say that there is a foreign conspiracy behind this.
A cloud burst is very heavy rainfall in a short period of time. A sudden drop of water from the clouds to the ground is called a cloud burst. But this happens only in the designated areas. Especially in the area of 20 to 30 sq km, 10 cm of rain per hour is recorded. Due to this, there will be sudden floods in that area.
All this is a leap but another interesting point is what Chief Minister KCR did immediately after receiving such sensitive information. If it is a topic within his scope, he can put a team and collect details about it. And what KCR is saying is an international issue. In other words, it is an issue that only the Center has to deal with. And has he shared his sensitive information with the Centre? Or? That is another question.
Even if CM KCR does not need to tell the people about the evidence he has, he should tell the center before commenting on it as a foreign conspiracy. It is necessary to question not only CM KCR who made this kind of comment but also those who gave him feedback.

Scientists are denying KCR’s comments about cloud bursts. They believe that it isn’t possible. They added that it rained as per the expectations. They called CM KCR’s comments ridiculous. But apart from the scientists who heard KCR’s words, the common people are quite angry. In general, blaming nature for human-caused crimes and calling it a foreign conspiracy is an attempt to distract people from their own mistakes. Still, we have to wait and see whether the government will open its eyes and form a committee with experts to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
