Reacting to the Supreme Courts judgement on the decades-old Ayodhya land dispute which came in support of constructing a Ram Temple, the AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi made key comments on Saturday. The Muslim leader expressed dissatisfaction over the pronounced Supreme Court’s verdict. Though he claimed his faith in the Constitution and the supremacy of the Supreme Court he stated that they are met with justice. Addressing the media he said “We were fighting for our right, we should reject this five acres land offer. Don’t patronise us.” He also stated that in a democratic country Muslims should not live in fear and that India should be protected from Hinduism. “As a responsible citizen I do accept that it is my responsibility to respect the verdict, I am not happy with it,” he added.
