Dr Sudhakar case has been taking interesting turns right from the day High court accorded the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the premier investigating agency. After almost twenty-one days of being lodged in Visakhapatnam Hospital for Mental Health, the anaesthetist doctor who hit to headlines getting arrested half-naked for allegedly creating nuisance in public was finally discharged from the hospital on High court’s orders.
However, the whereabouts of the controversial doctor post leaving the hospital on Saturday is something to worry. Dr Sudhakar along with his family went incommunicado from Saturday midnight. If the information from the trusted sources is to be believed, Sudhakar and his family left to less known place upon doctor’s suggestion to keep him away from media and public fuss. Meanwhile, it remained unanswered if CBI also has no clue about where Sudhakar or is it just media.
It is to the known knowledge that State Telugu Mahila president and former MLA Vangalapudi Anitha has written to High Court over the Visakhapatnam police. High Court has taken the case on suo-moto cognisance, followed by which CBI was directed to take up the case and complete the investigation within eight weeks.
CBI after a preliminary enquiry registered FIRs on police personnel and public servants involved. Shockingly, the premium investigating agency also levelled FIR against Dr Sudhakar himself for creating nuisance in public.
