The Northeast part of India has always been a victim of natural calamities. Be it landslides, or earthquakes, despite the varying intensity of a disaster, there has been a considerable impact of these things on the livelihoods of the locals. A similar incident has taken place recently in one of the Northeast states that alarmed the residents. A small earthquake shook the northern Pangin region of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday night. With this, the people rushed out of the houses in fear.
Sources confirm that the epicenter was reported below the ground, at 5.1 on the Richter scale, according to the National Center for Seismology. The epicenter was reported 1174 kilometers south of Pangin.

Earlier in the day, a small earthquake shook Himachal Pradesh on Friday morning. Authorities said that the earthquake has happened in the region of Dharamshala in the state. “Its magnitude was 3.0 on the Richter scale,” officials said. The epicenter was reported below the ground at a depth of 5 km, officials confirmed on Friday.
