MLA Eetala Rajender responded to KCR’s comments in an offensive fashion, said that CM KCR had insulted the constitution maker Ambedkar. Eetala mentioned that India has the largest written constitution in the world, questioned KCR’s intentions behind commenting on the constitution, challenging it on the whole. He in fact lauded the Constitution saying that it has the strength and perseverance to turn a Chaiwala into a Prime Minister and a Dalit into the President of India.
He reminded that the birth of Telangana has happened because of Article 3 in the constitution. Eetala was highly disappointed with the kind of language KCR used on criticizing the constitution. He added that everything KCR is insensitive and must be accountable. Eetala poured in satires on KCR’s way of politics- appointing too many people from his family at various positions in running the government, and not giving priority to any of the MLAs and other ministers who aren’t his family. He questioned the excessive control of digital and print media in the state of Telangana.
KCR was seen saying that he will organize a meeting with all the IAS officers in India and talk about progress and development. Eetala reminded KCR of how IAS officers like Akunuri Murali and RS Praveen Kumar resigned as they didn’t find KCR’s way of working legitimately. He also criticized KCR for appointing an SC and an ST official only after being reminded of providing equal opportunities for people of all caste and creeds.
“BJP has the highest membership in the world. What can KCR do to the party? Does he want the constitution to be modified as per the Kalwakuntla ways of reigning? What has KCR done in these years?. Did he provide the double bedroom houses? the Dalit bonds? He did nothing but give fake promises to the people of Telangana for the sake of votes. People of Telangana are angry with KCR. Telangana is the only state where employees committed suicides because they were facing transfers”, concluded Eetala.
