Along with the G.O 317, and Dharani, CM KCR’s government received a severe backlash on the motivation and the purpose behind the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme. Talking about the same, BJP MLA Rajendra Itala says KCR has no love for the Dalits of Telangana. He spoke to the media at the camp office in Huzurabad. He said that he was the reason behind the initiation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme in the first place. Urging KCR to be modest with his activities, Eetla questioned the implementation of promises KCR made during the Huzurabad by-poll elections.
Eetala stated that the sole purpose behind the idea of the Dalit Bandhu scheme was to grab the votes of Dalits in the by-elections. He affirmed that KCR has no affection for the Dalits. He opined that there would have been no Dalit Bandhu if there weren’t the by-elections. Eetala demanded the immediate resignation of KCR from the CM position.
Further, Rajendra demanded to know the time when the Dalit Bandhu scheme would be implemented across the state. He said that Dalits should be given complete freedom and comfort in the Rs 10 lakh scheme. He reminded that the welfare and development schemes in the state are being run with the tax money earned from the people. He stated that those who deserve must get the double bedrooms and he urged the government officials to take strict action against the brokers who are collecting bribes.
Rajendra concluded that he will always fight on behalf of the poor. He lashed out at KCR saying that many families’ lives were getting ruined because of the exponential rise in alcohol stores all over the place. He opined that there is am immense unrest and opposition growing among the people against the Telangana government.
