The TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy once again fired on the Telangana Government over the ORR tender and related issues. He alleged that under the guidance of CM KCR…the ORR was just like that given to IRB at a throwaway price. He was speaking with media persons at the CLP office. He went on to say that from time and again…the Congress Party is bringing to the attention of the general public the Government’s idea…and they are ready to loot further…and getting ready!?
Revanth said that the company is supposed to pay 10 percent of the total project value in cash within 30 days of the letter of agreement. As such, Revanth said that out of Rs.7,388 crore, Rs.738 crore has to be given… He was furious while stating that till now the IRB Company hasn’t cleared the amount and requested for extension of time.
Revanth alleged that Minister KTR is putting a lot of pressure on the officials to favour the company that has violated the agreement. He is very keen on insisting on the payment of Rs.738 crores without further loss of time by the IRB company as they have already looted one lakh crore property for Rs.7,388 crore only. He also said that it’s not correct for KTR to keep pressure on the officials to get the payments in installments. And on top of all this, Revanth Reddy wondered about how a retired official like BLN Reddy was given the plum post of MD of HGCL in a hurry when the position is supposed to be filled with an IAS officer.
Revanth Reddy demanded information on the whereabouts of Teja Raju and Rajesh Raju…when KTR went to Singapore. Revanth also said that the IRB Company has sold a 49 percent stake to the Singapore Company. He also accused KTR of making foreign trips…only to invest the money – which he got out of commissions. That’s why KTR is conducting in-camera meetings…
He said that the moment the tender was given to IRB Company, immediately the Singaporean company came into the picture. And he predicted that…in no time the shell companies shall also come and join…He wanted to know more about such intricate details from them. Revanth Reddy expressed his concern on non-payment of the IRB Company the agreed 10 percent and demanded that if the company doesn’t clear the amount before the 26th of this month as per the norms of the IRB organization. Otherwise, demanded the cancellation of the tenders.
Revanth demanded an explanation from Arvind Kumar to explain about the controversy surrounding the ORR tender. He wanted to know on what basis he was denied an appointment with him. He further said that most of his parliamentary constituency is in GHMC. He wanted to know, how can tender be given to an IRB organization that cannot pay 10 percent of the funds. And, he demanded the cancellation of tenders. Under the RTI act, if the requested information not coming up, then the Congress Party cadre will go ahead with the HMDA and HGCL companies.
Revanth said that he will file a complaint with the CAG and Central Vigilance Organizations about corruption. Later on, Revanth made certain sensational comments. He questioned Bandi and Kishan Reddy why they are keeping Mum on this issue of daylight robbery. He further said that Cabinet Ministers should also work within their limitations. The cabinet is not like the river Ganga. Once approval is given…doesn’t mean that it is like the Pushcart bath… There are no GODs in the cabinet. He called them all thieves…and he called the KCR cabinet that of the thieves’ vehicle.
