Amidst the sharp rise in corona cases in the country, various state governments have been rising to the reported second wave imposing night curfews and weekend lockdown in the cities with a high number of cases.
In the wake of which, social media on Monday flooded with posts that the Telangana government would soon impose complete lockdown anytime soon.
Issuing a clarification on the same, Telangana health director Srinivasa Rao On Monday stated that the propaganda on social media that lockdown and curfew will be imposed in Telangana are not true.
Taking to the statistics which revealed a hike in cases amongst school kids, Srinivas Rao said that the kids are turning into super spreaders.
Assuring that the state government is gearing up for the second wave, the health director urged the citizen to follow all preventive measures and to get vaccinated.
