Calling it ends to months of speculations around, seems like the producers of Anushka’s ’Nishabhdham’ has finally narrowed down for OTT option with no clear indication on when it would re-open to screen the movies since the Coronavirus pandemic started.
Touted to be the comeback film of actress Anushka, the action thriller which wrapped up major parts of shooting in the US in late 2019 itself was rumoured to head for digital release. If the rumours are believed to be true, Amazon Prime which recently bagged ‘V’ rights acquired the digital rights of another biggie ’Nishabdham at a quote of Rs 24 crores.
According to another strong rumour, the thriller will start streaming on the OTT platform from October 2nd in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Makers People Media Factory, Kona Film Corporation of the Hemanth Madhuka directorial recently held an audience opinion on which platform they prefer to watch the movie-theatres or OTT.
As expected, nearly 56 per cent of people have voted to watch the movie on OTT platforms. While an official announcement yet to be made, the rumours came as a fresh breeze for Sweety fans. Apart from Anushka, the film also stars Madhavan, Michael Madsen, Shalini Pandey, and Anjali will appear in crucial roles.
