Political heat started spurting in Dubbak constituency even before the Election Commission announcing the schedule for by-election which became inevitable after the sudden demise of TRS MLA Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy.
While Congress happened to be the first party to announce that it was all set for the fray, recent speculation hyped up the political scenarios in the constituency. According to information from the trusted source, Telangana firebrand Vijayashanthi is contemplating to contest from Dubbak constituency for the upcoming by-elections.
Vjayashanthi who is once active in the state politics was seen maintaining a safe distance after she held the position of party’s campaign committee chairman. According to the ground reports, Congress’ grip on the constituency weakened after the demise of former minister Muthyam Reddy while BJP has no solid cadre expect for Raghu Nandhan Ram.
This apparently has turned into supporting points for Vajayashanthi who already have good support in Medak district. With Dubbak being a rural constituency, the probability is high that a strong candidate backed with Congress’ vote bank can grab an easy win. While an official announcement is yet to made, sources confirmed that Vijayashanthi will take no qualms in grabbing this golden opportunity for a comeback.
