Crime Bureau, Tolivelugu: Former CS Somesh Kumar continued his rule over Telangana for the last three years. So much so that the opposition has started accusing CM KCR of having roots in Bihar. He has been accused of playing a key role in giving the key postings of IAS and IPS to people from that state. It seems that Somesh Kumar, who went to AP half-heartedly with the High Court’s verdict, does not want to work there. With this, it seems that he resigned from the AP government before the end of his tenure. There will be clarity on this in another 10 days. It is reported that the government of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has not given any posting till then. As soon as the resignation is accepted, the campaign is going on that he will get into a key posting in the Telangana government. Three IAS who have already retired are continuing as commissioners. They say that there is no need to be surprised if the Special Secretary continues in the quota like them.
Revenue is the key
Somesh Kumar is bold in bringing income. He proved this in the past by being an Excise Commissioner. The government thinks that revenue has been earned by clearing the lands in the revenue department. There are allegations that nobody knows how to clear disputed lands for benami of government officials like his disciples do. An officer who is loyal to the government and the party is needed for a key position in the revenue department. Hence, it seems that Somesh Kumar is showing a lot of interest to come to Telangana. There is a discussion in IAS circles that KCR has agreed to this and Somesh has applied for voluntary retirement.
The tenth floor is ready!
Improvements are being made to the 10th floor of the present Secretariat BRK Bhawan. Even if the new secretariat is opened, there are chances that the new government will be in place by the time everything is in place. It is reported that the 10th floor is being prepared for the fastest changes in the revenue and excise departments. The current CS is staying in the chamber where Somesh was until recently. If he comes, they are preparing to take him directly to the 10th floor.
