The list of prominent leaders testing positive to the dreadful coronavirus kept increasing while former President of India joined the list on Monday.
Revealing that his tests turned positive, former president Pranab Mukherjee in a tweet urged people who came in contact with him in the last week to get tested and self isolate themselves.
“On a visit to the hospital for a separate procedure, I have tested positive for COVID19 today. I request the people who came in contact with me in the last week, to please self isolate and get tested for COVID-19,” read his tweet.

Mukherjee who served as India’s president between 2012 and 2017, reportedly is under medical supervision and is stable. Several party leaders and politicians took to the comments section to wish him a speedy recovery and a long & healthy life.
It is to the known knowledge that eminent leaders like Union ministers Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Karnataka CM B. S. Yediyurappa, and Congress leader Siddaramaiah already came out to have tested positive for coronavirus.
