In a shock to the state political circles, former YSRTP Spokesperson Indira Shoban joined hands with Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party(APP) on Saturday. She joined the party in the presence of Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia after a brief meeting with him. Speaking on the occasion, Indira criticized TRS and BJP and admired APP for being for people on fronts. She then affirmed to do her best to strengthen the party in Telugu states.
Political analysts opined this to be a part of Operation South India of APP which is trying to strengthen its base in states like Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Andhra, and Telangana. As a part of this, the party is learned to narrow down on leaders who are discontented with the local parties they are associated with. It is to the known knowledge that Arvind Kejriwal has been meeting several leaders in the respective states, of late.
