Strengthening the rift between the Telangana Governor and the state Chief Minister KCR, Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday made shocking comments on the state government. Furious over the sharp dip in the number of testings in the state, Tamilisai expressed her discontent through her official social media channels.
Pointing out that situations will grip out of hands unless the state government will take the ‘Testing..tracking..treating’ mantra seriously. “Unless adequate numbers of testing done our efforts to eradicate #Covid19 in Telangana will be difficult, more so amidst #rains & floods in this season..in the larger interest of public,” read her tweet.

Amidst the reports followed by the Governor’s interview with a national TV channel in which she raised concern over the adamant government, Tamilisai’s latest comments set ripples in Telangana politics. It can be noted that Tamilisai in her interview stated that KCR-led state government refused to mend the way despite her writing up to six letters.
In her recent tweet, the Governor also shared an article which noted the number of tests that has come down from 21,239 on Friday to just 8,794 on Monday. The article also pointed out the mismatch in the number of containment zones announced by the state health department.
