Is the time over for Telangana leaders who fought for the separate state movement? Should they be contented with the stories of their struggles during the movement? Should they kill the hope that the CM KCR would shower them with posts? Yes is the answer from many political analysts who have been observing the present scenarios.
It can be noted that KCR was observed ignoring many of the leaders who took actively took part in the Telangana movement who had hoped for tickets during the Assembly and Parliamentary elections but has given chance to the newcomers who changed loyalties. The leaders who are anticipating at least nominated posts if not MLA and MP tickets are left disappointed for the last seven years.
In the first shock to these leaders, KCR nominated Surabhi Vani Devi for the MLC candidate. Further, the TRS supremo was seen giving posts for many newcomers like Kaushik Reddy under the Governor quota. Naming Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao as chairman for Telangana Commission for Backward Classes, Peddireddy as the RTC chairman, Motkupalli as chairman for Dalit Bandhu scheme came as a series of shocks to Telangana movement leaders who are awaiting posts.
