Dubbaka by-polls has indeed changed the political scenarios in Telangana. Besides boosting the morale of the saffron cadre in the state, the unexpected victory snubbed the ruling TRS into deep retrospection while the most-anticipated GHMC polls are fast approaching.
As the state BJP leaders are basking the victory of recent by-polls, high command in Delhi as well narrowed down on the state to further bank the possibilities. Information from the trusted sources has it that the BJP high command is likely to field national leaders for the campaigning.

Known to be the troubleshooter, the National General Secretary Bhupender Yadav who also has good relations with state BJP cadre is learnt to be deployed as the election in-charge. Touted to be the right hand of Union Minister Amit Shah, Bhupender Yadav has the track record of successfully handling Gujarat and Bihar polls.

Delhi circles further confirmed that Amit Shah called for an emergency meeting to shortlist the leaders to look after GHMC polls. Karnataka Minister Sudhakar, MLA Satish Reddy, Maharastra party chief whip Ashish Shelar and Gujarat party chief Pradeep Singh were learnt to be finalised for ‘Team GHMC’.
It can be noted that the BJP election management committee has already been set up with 23 key leaders with Union Minister Kishan Reddy as chairman.
