The unexpected victory in the recent Dubbaka polls has come as a breather to BJP which has been trying all odds to turn into a strong alternative for ruling parties in Telugu states.
Strategic alliance with young and dynamic JanaSena has been one of the commendable moves to strengthen its roots in Andhra-while in Telangana, luring TRS leaders is the main agenda.
As the Telangana political circles are rife with speculations over JanaSena joining hands with BJP for campaigning, in a major jolt chief Pawan Kalyan announced that his party will field its candidates in all 50 divisions.
Stating that Telangana party cadre wants to bank the followers base in the city, the party chief also hinted upon campaigning for the candidates in the coming days.
However, confusion prevailed with mixed signals from the BJP camp in the city. Despite Pawan openly stating that his party will field its candidates, BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar when probed said that there was no such proposal.
Further, Union minister of state for home affairs, G Kishan Reddy said that they would talk to JanaSena chief. This sudden jolt has reportedly been the main agenda behind BJP national secretary Bhupender Yadav’s two-day visit to Hyderabad.
Sources confirmed that the national leader would hold talks with JanaSena Chief Pawan to discuss the possible alliance for the upcoming polls.
Rounding off, the BJP cadre now pinned hopes on Bhupender Yadav who would probably rope in JanaSena to bank on the actor’s charisma in the city.
