Hours after the country’s corona count crossed the 3.7 million cases-mark, another state Chief Minister fell in the Corona clutches joining the list of prominent politicians who tested positive for the deadly virus.
Revealing that he has tested positive for coronavirus, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday took to Twitter to stated that he is now in home isolation.
“I shall continue to discharge my duties working from home. Those who have come in my close contact are advised to take the necessary precautions,” tweeted the 47-year-old Chief Minister.
I wish to inform all that I have been detected COVID19 positive. I am asymptomatic and hence have opted for home isolation. I shall continue to discharge my duties working from home. Those who have come in my close contact are advised to take the necessary precautions.

The Chief Minister of the tourist-centric state whose revenue was hit by the pandemic also stated that his health condition is stable and is under medical observation.
Pramod Sawant is the fourth Chief Minister to have tested positive for coronavirus after his Karnataka counterpart BS Yediyurappa, Madhya Pradesh’s Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Haryana’s ML Khattar.
