Tamilnadu: Whenever the Prime Minister enters Tamilnadu, it seems like #GoBackModi welcomes him far in advance than the Tamilnadu officials. Like never before, Twitter witnessed hashtags like #GoBackSadistModi, #PoMoneModi along with #TNWelcomesModi which felt like was made in a counter to the former hashtags. And the top-notch one is #回到莫迪 (Huí dào mò dí) which means go back in Chinese. Amidst the PM Narendra Modi’s unofficial meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mahabalipuram, the hashtags have stirred up a storm in the social media platforms.
Welcome Xi, you are a guest !#回到莫迪#GoBackModi you are dust!

Tamils are the new Muslims & TN is the new Pakistan according to Amit media. So sad that we don’t care . We are actually the early immigrants, the Dravidians ,reality is you have more DNA bonds with Pakistan than we do not that we care if we do #GoBackSadistModi #GoBackModi

While the question of why Mahabalipuram(also known as Mamallapuram) lingered in the minds of many citizens, its was known that Tamil Nadu has historical links with China and the Chinese traveller Huien Tsang visited the region during the rule of the Pallava dynasty. PMO also reviled that they did a lot of thinking before finalising the venue. The BJP has been trying hard to make inroads into Tamil Nadu, but the not-so-warm welcome from the state is making the supremo think twice before he visits the place.
