The Godavari once again turned furious with heavy rains. Pushkar Ghats were sunk at Kaleswaram. Flood water reached the roads. As 7 lakh cusecs of flood water are coming into the Kadem project, 3 lakh cusecs are being released as outflow. A red alert was announced for the project due to heavy flood water. Water is jumping from the dam. Officials announced that the embankment could break at any moment. People of Pandavapur, Amberpet, Godugudem, Bhutkur, Rampur, Munjal and Godisireal villages have been evacuated to safer places.
It is raining incessantly in Bhainsa. Due to rains in Mudhol taluk, many roads were damaged and traffic stopped. Gaddennavagu project is flooding. Due to the heavy rains in Maharashtra, four gates of the project were lifted and 55 thousand cusecs of flood water were released into the Suddavagu. The floodwaters inundated all catchment areas within Bhainsa town limits.

On the other hand, Hussain Sagar has become full due to heavy rains in Hyderabad. It looks full. Water from the drainage is entering the Hussain Sagar. Because of this, the authorities considered releasing the waters into the Moosi river.
