Telangana has been inundated with rains for the past few days. It has been raining heavily in the Rangareddy district since midnight yesterday. As a result, the entire premises of Parvatapur Village Primary School in Kondurg Mandal, Shad Nagar, Rangareddy District, was filled with rainwater.
As the rainwater enters the classrooms of the school, the students are pushing the water with their feet. Due to this, students are facing serious difficulties to go to their classes.
The school building is quite old, and the students are afraid of it breaking down at any moment and hurting them. The consistent rains are only increasing the chances of collapsing the building. This has been going on for a few days.
The students expressed their worries saying that the rainwater is finding its way into the classrooms through the roof of the building. The parents of the students are angry at the authorities for not taking any necessary action despite the deteriorating condition of the building.
