After the recent meeting between Governor Tamilisai and CM KCR at the Raj Bhavan, everyone thought that the situation had improved. But it has been recently revealed that there is no change. Governor Tamilisai attended the President’s swearing-in ceremony in Delhi. A chit-chat was held with the media on this occasion. She once again made some key comments against KCR regarding the protocol.
Tamilisai said that even after KCR’s meeting with him at Raj Bhavan recently, there is no difference in the protocol. She mentioned that ever since that day, she stopped approaching KCR for anything at all. She further said that during her recent inspections of the flood-affected areas in the state, no collector showed up with her unlike what was expected of them as per the protocol. When questioned that no governor has made such visits when there are floods in other states, she said that there is a difference between them and her. “Should the governor simply stay in Raj Bhavan and do nothing?” she questioned.
The governor said that her aim is to be close to the people. She explained that she has provided clothes and medicines to those who have become homeless due to rains through NGOs. He said that the central government will definitely help the state. Tamilisai said that Kishan Reddy has already provided the damage details to the Center as it has helped in the past floods.
The Governor said that there is no possibility of KCR going to early elections. She believes that KCR is criticizing Modi only with the intention of entering national politics. She said that seeing the conditions on the ground, KCR would have intended to go for early elections, but he will not do so now.
