It looks like competition is going on between the two Telugu states. Not in development, but in pushing the burden on the people- in terms of hiking the fares. The pockets of the common man are already being emptied with the hike in the electricity charges, fuel prices, and everything else, the prices of all the basic needs have been skyrocketing in both the states. As if that was not enough, the RTC charges once again saw a hike in Telangana.
This time after a recent hike, in the name of diesel cess, RTC in Telangana has increased the charges again. They raised Rs 2 for Pallevelugu and City Ordinary Services. Express, Deluxe, and Metro Deluxe have decided to increase the super-luxury by Rs.
The minimum fare on bus service has been fixed at Rs.10. The increased prices will take effect from Saturday. RTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan and MD Sajjanar asked the people to cooperate in this matter.
Already with the rise in the prices of essentials, the common man is suffering up to a great extent. In addition, the increase in electricity charges is an additional burden. Again now RTC charges have been increased on a shocking note.
