It has been almost 9 days since Kashmir Files hit the big screens. The movie amassed more than a hundred crores as of now. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the dynamics of Bollywood had altered altogether with this movie. Unlike a couple of movies bashing the movie, and its content, people embraced the heartbreaking story of Kashmiri Pandits, hailed the filmmaker for his courage and valor.
Various scenes and dialogues in the movie had caused quite a controversy. The Center has decided to provide Y category security to Kashmir Files film director Vivek Agnihotri. Authorities said he would be guarded by 7 to 8 CRPF commandos under Y category security.
Authorities said the decision was taken by the Union Home Ministry. The Center seems to have come to this decision on the information that his life was under threat after the release of the Kashmiri Files film.
Kashmir files were released on March 11. Director Vivek Agnihotri brilliantly opens the story on the attacks and migration of Kashmir Pandits. The film has been embroiled in controversy ever since its release. The BJP held a parliamentary meeting on Thursday. Prime Minister Modi told the gathering that he would support the film Kashmiri Files.
