Republic Day closing ceremonies were held in grand style. The Beating Retreat was held on the last day. The Rajpath shone in the electric lights that were a feast to the eyes. Laser shows, a band performance of soldiers, and a drone show were special attractions.
A grand Beating Retreat Parade was held at Vijay Chowk. The three dignitaries, including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Modi, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, were present on the occasion. However .. this time the display of drones was a special attraction. Amidst the fine music, lovely performances took place. Armed forces bands and state police teams took part in the celebrations. The center conducted a special program with a thousand drones. The show lasted for ten minutes and featured a reflection of 75 years of independent India.
The program was organized under the Make in India program as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Pictures of freedom fighters and trends of the day were displayed in the form of a laser show. An eye-catching laser show was held near the North and South Blocks. Rajpath shone in colorful electric lights.
On the other hand, this time new tunes were added with the help of the Department of Defense. ‘Hind Ki Sena’, ‘Kerala’ and ‘Aye Mere Vatan’ Roke Logon Tunes were performed by the three forces in their band performances. However, Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite Christian tune ‘Abide with Me’ was removed. The ceremony began with the mast band Veer Sainik’s tune. The Beating Retreat Parade ended with the tune ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’.
