In a shock to the TDP leader and former Mayor Sabbam Hari, Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) on Saturday partially vandalised the leader’s residence in Seethammadara. Claiming that the toilet and fencing of the leader’s property occupied 12 feet of public property park, GVMC carried out the demolition.
Tension ran high as Sabbam expressed dismay over the sudden development alleging that the demolition work was carried without giving any prior information. GHMC authorities, on the other hand, refuted Sabbam’s allegations and stated that the leader deliberately snubbed their notices.
While the situation heated up with Sabbam’s followers resorting to arguments, police reached the leader’s residence to sort down the issue. On this note, Sabbam was learnt to submit as a written complaint to the GVMC officials.
Condemning the demolition, former Chief Minister and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu took to his social media account alleging vested interests.
