Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued notices to Mylavaram YSRCP MLA Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad over the case filed by former minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao. Upon hearing the arguments, High Court Judge Justice M. Gangarao issued orders to the MLA seeking clarification over the issue. Former minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, the TDP contender of Krishna Prasad has filed a petition in the High Court seeking the cancellation of the minister’s tenure. In his petition filed, Devineni accused that MLA Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad has not mentioned the details of the cases filed against him. On this note, the High Court also issued notice to the respective Election Returning Officer along with the MLA. This heated up the politics in the district which is already ablaze with the sand policy.
