Women can excel in all fields and they are second to none: KTR
Minister KTR says that women can excel in all the fields and they do their work sincerely and honestly. Their motive would be to move forward, always! Generally it is suggested to the youth to be an Engineer, a Doctor or may be a Lawyer but he wonders why they can’t be entrepreneurs as well? KTR was participating at the WE Hub’s 5th annual celebrations conducted at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR says that development in any field becomes possible, provided we utilize the excellent manpower and available modern technology to its best. He has also announced that very soon the state of Telangana is coming out with single window scheme for the benefit of women entrepreneurs of the state. The plan is to extend the advantages of single window scheme not only to the women entrepreneurs but also to the self-help groups ranging from mandal stage to state level. The advantage of the single window scheme is to ensure all the required permissions – for those individuals who are desirous of establishing their business units-are available at one place itself. He exhorted the women who are attending the conference to get the best use of WE Hub and T Hub facilities of Telangana and evolve them to be entrepreneurs, rather than trying to get jobs for them.
KTR gave a call with a strong message about gender equality stating that it should begin at our homes itself rather than somewhere else. He further states that unfortunately for long time since, knowingly or unknowingly the children are brought up at our homes that give an impression that boys are superior to girls and that’s not going to help anybody in today’s modern times. It’s high time for everyone in the family especially, the parents to look at this aspect with broad mind and there should be change in our thought process itself towards this sensitive yet important aspect of life.
KTR went on to explain that his parents gave the best and equal opportunities for him and his sister without any discrimination, recalling that when it comes to going to USA, the first natural choice was for his sister only. KTR proudly says that today they are also following their parents’ footsteps and taking care of their children and encouraging them about their choice of education and the path forward for them, without any gender bias and discrimination.
KTR concludes that if parents can stand with their children – whether it’s boy or girl, in testing and trying times as well by stating that they can always depend upon them for guidance and support – then he is confident that 100% success of their life is a foregone conclusion. The minister was seen visibly happy when he heard about the success stories of each individual who got the advantage of associating with either WE Hub or T Hub for their growth and development. He is proud to say that these success stories are the outcomes of the people behind the WE Hub and T Hub and commented that the very purpose of their creation was now being felt by these fruitful results and he is extremely happy to be a part of their creation itself.
