HEADLINE STORY: Bandi faces dissidence from within…
In recent times, it appears, as though Bandi Sanjay, Telangana State BJP President has found himself in a piquant situation. The series of statements and comments about the overall functioning of the state President from different functionaries within the party are a cause of concern. Now it is the turn of Kannam Anjaiah, a senior party leader to blame Sanjay by commenting that due recognition is missing for Dalits during Sanjay’s term. Dalits were never given even a single party position, he comments.

He also accuses Sanjay by saying that the services of the grass root level workers who are giving in their best efforts for the nation are not getting appreciation and on the other hand, people who have joined the party from other parties, are being given importance and are gifted with party positions. While reminding Sanjay about the discussion of offering party positions for Dalits in the core committee meeting, Anjaiah fails to understand how come there was no implementation of the same by Sanjay, though he himself being a BC leader.
Anjaiah further states that many grass root level workers are questioning him to clarify about their role and position in the party and it says that he is wondering about what kind answer he can offer to them. He also alleged that Bandi is interested only in those individuals who support him on the financial front only. He also lamented that while the leaders who have joined the party in recent times are becoming national leaders – there is no change in the status of party workers, who have been with the party over a long number of years.

He was so sorry to see that Bandi Sanjay being the state unit president of the party has not bothered to visit the families of the BJP workers who have lost their lives…and questioned Sanjay about what is the message he is giving to the party and party workers in this regard as well.
Anjaiah has not stopped there and went on to announce that ‘Aatmeeya Sammelanam’ against Sanjay would soon be conducted at Karimnagar and challenged Sanjay to list out about how many Dalits were offered party positions during that meeting itself at Karimnagar’s court centre. He concluded with the remarks that none of the Telangana districts got Dalits as district presidents till date and accused Sanjay that he has developed grudge against him – since he has asked for S C classification.
