Home Minister Amit Shah visits Hyderabad…Never ending poster war in Telangana!
The poster war continues in Telangana during the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah. Targeting BJP, posters were set up across strategic points in Hyderabad. This has added significance on the eve of ED’s marathon questioning of BRS MLC Kavitha in Delhi. Lots of banners were put up in a sarcastic way to ‘welcome’ Home Minister Amit Shah. The well-known Nirma girl’s pictures were morphed to mock different leaders who have joined BJP.
As part of the investigation process in Delhi Liquor scam case, the ED has questioned, BRS MLC Kavitha at Delhi. During that period, on Sunday Home Minister Amit Shah was on a visit to Hyderabad to attend the CISF’s 54th Raising Day parade at CISF’s Hakim pet Training Centre. Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said that CISF plays an important role in the overall development of the Nation. Shah also said that to ensure desired results, one should maintain peaceful law and order situations across all places and stages. He lauded the efforts of CISF in providing excellent quality security services to Government and Private Organisations throughout the nation.
However, on the eve of Shah’s visit to Telangana, posters were put up at strategic locations in the city. In the context of Kavitha’s questioning by the ED, lot of discussions and debates were focused on the leaders, who are facing corruption charges and later joined BJP. Highlighting this issue, BRS has come out with posters ridiculing the BJP in general and the leaders in particular, who have joined BJP after the corruption charges were booked upon them in most cases. Through these posters, BRS wonders how come the tainted leaders shall come out clean once they have joined BJP…and used the Nirma washing powder advertisements to make their point of view. The fixing of these posters on these lines has become hot topic for discussion in political circles.
On Saturday, several posters with the images of Kavitha on one side and other leaders who have joined BJP from other parties on other side have come up across the city. The message points out that if the opposition leaders having corruption charges on them join BJP, there shall not be any enquiry and they shall come out unscathed from those charges. Simultaneously, on the same lines PM Modi was shown in the guise of ‘Ravanasura’ in the posters that have come up at different places and photos of these posters have become viral in social media.
In addition, the hoardings displayed at different places ‘welcomed’ Amit Shah by keeping slogans like ‘washing powder Nirma…Welcome to Amit Shah’ In addition, in these posters the Nirma washing powder girl’s face was replaced with photos of prominent BJP leaders including Hemanth Biswakarma, Narayana Rane, Suvendu Adhikari, Sujana Chowdary, Jyothiraditya Scindia. All corruption charges would be washed out if any tainted leader joins BJP is the underlying message in these kinds of posters and hoardings that have come up in the city and they were not only hot topics for discussion but also become instantly viral in social media.
